The Academy is an organization of dedicated pharmacists and associated men and women Whose objectives are:

   ●  To enhance the ethical standards of the practice of pharmacy;            

   ●  To promote unity and cooperation within the health care profession and;

   ●  To ensure that the public receives the best information and counseling regarding their medications.

Interest in the future of the profession is demonstrated by the annual award of three $1000 scholarships to students from the Central Ohio area who are enrolled in a college of pharmacy,

maintain academic standards and have demonstrated their leadership qualities in both their college of pharmacy and community.

Continuing education is provided free to members.

Attendance at our programs earns most of the sixty (60) contact hours required by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy for license renewal. The Ohio jurisprudence requirement is fulfilled each year.

The Academy Membership is a diverse group composed of:

Independent Retail Pharmacists, Chain Store Pharmacists, Mail-order Pharmacists, Home Infusion Pharmacists, Government Agency Pharmacists, Consultant Pharmacists, College of Pharmacy Students, College Administrators and Faculty, Wholesaler Representatives, and Manufacturer Representatives. Members primarily reside in Franklin County plus the six contiguous Central Ohio Counties including: Delaware, Fairfield, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway, and Union.
